Archived filesOctober 21, 2006 - Property evaluation & acquisition workshopThe CLCLT Board has set the date for a workshop with a professional housing consultant to begin board training in property evaluation and acquisition. The workshop is the next step in a project funded by the Evanston Community Foundation. The consultant, Teresa Prim, has most recently completed work with a community land trust in Humboldt Park in Chicago. The workshop will take place Saturday October 21 from noon to 4:00pm in the first-floor small community room (north) at the Evanston Public Library. While the workshop is primarily for the CLCLT Board, persons in the Evanston community who are interested in affordable housing development and the community land trust model are welcome to observe.
